Our commitment to responsible gaming at x888
Entertainment should always be enjoyable. At x888 we make sure your gaming experience stays within limits, safe and fun.
Why is responsible gaming important?
Online casino and betting is a legitimate form of entertainment. But like any form of entertainment, staying within limits matters. At x888 we believe every player should enjoy gaming while keeping their budget, time, and emotions in check.
The heart of responsible gaming is playing for fun, not to win back losses. Overspending to chase losses, and letting gaming affect your family life or work — these can be signs of a gambling problem.
On the x888 platform we give you a range of tools so you can stay in control at all times and keep your gaming experience positive and enjoyable.
All x888 services are for individuals aged 21 or above only. We strictly prohibit registration and participation by minors. Age verification is an integral part of our protection process.
Recognize the warning signs
- Placing more bets to recover losses
- Spending more time on betting than with family or work
- Borrowing money or breaking into savings to place bets
- Thinking about stopping but not being able to
Your safety tools
x888 gives you several practical tools so you can manage your own gaming environment.
Deposit Limits
Set a daily, weekly, or monthly maximum deposit limit for yourself. Once a limit is set it takes effect immediately. A set waiting period applies to any request to increase the limit, protecting you from overspending in an emotional moment.
Time-Out
Use the time-out feature when you want to take a break for a few days. It can be kept active from 24 hours up to a few weeks. During the time-out you will not be able to log in or place bets. Normal access returns once the break ends.
Self-exclusion
If you feel gaming is getting out of control, use the self-exclusion option. It lets you close your account for a minimum of 6 months up to permanently. This step is immediate and account recovery is not available during this period.
Account History
View your full transaction history, betting history, and total spending at any time. Being aware of your own gaming patterns is the first step in responsible gaming. Transparency is a core principle at x888.

Core principles of healthy betting at x888
Set these rules for yourself — following them will keep gaming enjoyable at all times.
Play only with money you can afford to lose
Never bet with money meant for daily expenses, your savings, or borrowed funds. Only spend what you can lose without it making a significant impact on your life.
Set a time limit for gaming
Decide in advance how long you will play each day. Log out after your set time and turn your attention to other things.
Winning is never guaranteed — keep that in mind
Casino and betting is a mix of chance and skill. Do not chase every loss — stop when your set budget runs out.
Take a break when emotions run high
Placing bets when you are angry, frustrated, or under stress can lead to serious mistakes. At such times, close x888 and take a moment to rest.
